Sony Slips Two New PSN Games

Sony has let slip the names of two new PSN titles in development on its website. The list of games compatible with the DualShock 3 controller includes the previously unheard of 'Burn Zombie Burn' and 'Underfire'.

Eidos has confirmed that the next instalment of the Tomb Raider series, Underworld, will be hitting UK stores on November 21st.

America will be getting it slightly earlier on the 18th.

Full tracklist for Rock Band 2 revealed, 500 songs by the end of '08

Harmonix and MTV Games have released the full tracklist of what fans can expect to be strumming along to with Rock Band 2. Over 84 tracks will ship on disc.

Rock Band 2 will feature a Disc Export Feature which will let original Rock Band owners "upgrade" their RB1 tracks into "Rock Band 2 gameplay".

Mysterious countdown on Resistance 2's viral site, 7 days away

On a viral site for Sony's Resistance 2 a countdown has appeared beneath a live action clip, it's go over 7 days left on the clock but no hint on what's to come.

Could this be some in-game content on its way or perhaps more of the bizarre? Well whatever it is the fans are likely to be gossiping away; perhaps E3 will hold a clue?

EA's Nucleus, a cross-platform community with gamer challenges

Electronic Arts have announced Nucleus which is to be built into all future EA Sports titles as well as making an appearance in Spore and Battlefield: Heroes.

Nucleus can cross the platforms and provides a gaming community where you can track each other's scores, earn achievements and even think up your own challenges for friends.

Resident Evil 5 will have online co-op, releases on Friday 13th March 2009

Speaking at Microsoft’s E3 keynote speech, producer Jun Takauchi revealed that, for the first time in the series, Resident Evil 5 will feature an online co-op mode.

It will allow players to play through the campaign together and work together to defeat obstacles.

Capcom's Flock Unveiled (And It's Zombie-Free)

Capcom has revealed details of its secret Flock project and we can confirm that it is not the Dead Rising sequel many fans hoped for.

Rather than smashing zombies upside the head with comedy weapons, Flock involves controlling a flying saucer and kidnapping farm animals. The player must find a way to herd the animals onto the mothership in each level, with each animal requiring a different method.

Following a Game Informer report on the NEOGaf forums, new screenshots and details have emerged for the new Wolfenstein game.

The sequel to the well known franchise will be set in WWII, with the Nazis as your principle enemy. You’ll be able to utilise a selection of guns and supernatural powers as weapons.

Konami announces date for Metal Gear Online Expansion

Konami Entertainment announced today that the first expansion pack for Metal Gear Online, entitled Gene Expansion, will be released on July 17th, and will add new maps, characters and a game mode.

That's according to analyst Todd Greenwald of Signal Hill Capital Group. There's a lot of agreeable mumblings from other analysts in the industry too.

Sony's Howard Stringer is eager to note that a PS3 is "the best way to buy a Blu-ray player." With the Blu-ray victory for High Def movies they now have a clearer advantage.
