 With over 700,000 subscriptions so far since launching in May, Funcom are not unsurprisingly buoyed that Age of Conan remains top dog in PC sales charts worldwide.

 Any fans looking to get their Guild War on with ArenaNet's sequel to their greatly successful free-to-play MMO will be waiting quite a bit longer.
The team want more time so that when the beta does start they hope players will be "absolutely blown away by the game". That's one ambitious beta. | |

 New details have emerged for the up coming MMO DC Universe online. According to an article in this months EDGE magazine, you will be able to create your own hero or villain, choose your superpower, and decide how you play the game. Like traditional MMO’s, your character will level up and you'll develop your powers. When the game starts you might be able to fly, but only later will you learn how to pull off specific moves and attacks in mid-air. | |

 During an interview with Eurogamer, Gaute Godager 'cheekily' compared Blizzard's World of Warcraft to "McDonald's" while Funcom's Age of Conan enjoys "steak".
The newly launched MMO has been hugely successful. He admits though "it's more expensive," and that "perhaps it's not as easily accessible as WOW is." | |
