The cries of Earth have been heard - a new 2D Worms game for PC is coming this summer. It's a complete HD game with tons of stuff.

It has 65 singleplayer missions, classic modes and all-new ones, customisation for Worms, gravestones, voices etc., and full multiplayer.

Narrative director Edward Douglas for Ubisoft's upcoming Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X 2 believes that buttoned controllers are essential for the genre.

Buttons are "needed to control" an aircraft he says, because it adds authenticity. Why would they go "so far away" from that kind of immersion?

What does this mean? It means Rocksteady can fine tune their already great talents with the tech, and hopefully blow us away all over again.

DC Comics' Suicide Squad is getting a videogame adaption revealed the Comic-Con panellists, specifically chief creative officer Geoff Johns.

They hinted at no platform or a release. It may launch alongside the Suicide Squad movie reported to be in the works. It'll be "hardcore violent".

Job listings at Rockstar North have surfaced and they're hunting for new developers who have "professional experience" with 3rd person action.

THQ's announced that its upcoming 3rd person shooter, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, will now be released for the PC in addition to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Jonathan Dowdeswell, General Manager of Relic Entertainment commented: "The loyal PC audience is incredibly important to us here at Relic so we are delighted to be able to announce the PC version of the game."

Grand Theft Auto IV was released back in 2008 to record numbers and was later followed by 2 DLC episodes starring all-new crazy action.

Publisher Capcom have 2 titles due out this year and one of them had its original game banned for sale in Germany. We're talking Dead Rising.

As no rating has been given to Dead Rising 2, Capcom feel it would be unfair to showcase it in a region it can't be sold. Won't 'solely exhibit' other title.

Publisher Square Enix has said the delay of mech-combat game Front Mission Evolved affects only the US release, whereas Europe is fine.

Double Helix's Xbox 360, PS3 and PC title will hit Europe September 17th as planned. It's got "Hollywood-style production values" says Square.

Sledgehammer Games boss Glenn Schofield, formerly of EA Visceral Games, has decided to let the big Internets know EA "treated me like sh*t".

Later he adds he "didn't mean" to get attention from this 'revelation', Schofield just wanted to "get it off my chest" after a year of "EA bashing us".

Square Enix and studio Io Interactive will unleash our favourite bald assassin next year, if promotional designs from Great Graphics are accurate.

The design firm has worked with Square before on Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days. One concept has the back of 47, while the other has "2011" stamped.

THQ and Syfy today announced a first-of-a-kind transmedia deal to debut Red Faction: Origins (working title), a two hour live-action movie pilot scheduled to air in March 2011 on Syfy.

The story of Red Faction: Origins follows the lineage of rebel hero Alec Mason and the Mason family, set during a period between the critically acclaimed Red Faction: Guerrilla and the recently announced and highly anticipated Red Faction: Armageddon, also scheduled for release in March 2011.

Activision has officially announced James Bond 007: Blood Stone, an original Bond experience from screenwriter Bruce Feirstein. In development for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, Blood Stone promises to be an explosive third-person action adventure that will unravel an international conspiracy across exotic locales.

"James Bond 007: Blood Stone captures the cinematic intensity of a Bond film by immersing players in an intriguing conspiracy that will require them to think and act like James Bond," said David Pokress, Head of Marketing for Licensed Properties, Activision Publishing.

Crystal Dynamics' upcoming downloadable Lara Croft title the Guardian of Light will remain exclusive to Xbox Live during Microsoft's Summer of Arcade.

The studio says that "in order to participate" in the highly successful promotion, Microsoft had them agree to 4 weeks exclusivity. PS3 and PC date soon.
