The 1.3 patch for Fallout: New Vegas is now available via automatic update or patch download, reports Steam. The patch basically tweaks and configures weaponry.

Developer CD Projekt Red is making sure The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings will be localized for nearly every gamer on the planet. The game, which is being released on May 17, will be localized in 11 languages.

Paradox Interactive has announced King Arthur Collection, a bundle featuring King Arthur: The Roleplaying Wargame and all of the content released for it, the King Arthur: The Saxons expansion, the King Arthur: The Druids expansion, the King Arthur: Knights and Vassals DLC and the King Arthur: Legendary Artifacts DLC.

JoWood is no more

It is the end of an era as longtime European publisher JoWood has shuttered its doors for good, as it has declared insolvency. The company had filed for bankruptcy in January. The company had been founded in 1995.

JoWood might have been rescued, when last month two potential investors were interested in the company. The company failed to achieve its recovery plan, however. In the first nine months of this fiscal year, the company recorded a net loss of over €25 million.

Bethesda would "like to see" PC Skyrim mods on the consoles

Todd Howard of Bethesda has said they hope it will be possible for the PC mod community to get their hard work onto Xbox 360 and PS3's Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

The studio big wig adds that "it works, it's how we made the game." Others have tried getting mods supported for console versions but certification stood in the way.

Bethesda's Todd Howard has clarified earlier statements by adding that the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim team "aren't taking advantage" of DirectX 11's full suite.

It's "mostly a DirectX 9 game in terms" of shaders, he said, but that "doesn't mean" they won't beef it up with DirectX 11 tech later. Already have "gains" from it.

Blizzard's Lead Content Designer Kevin Martens for Diablo III has talked up the action-RPG's love of randomisation and how it keeps things fresh and spontaneous.

There are by default "way more quests" than Diablo II ever had, including in variety. All over the game world there are "random elements" to discover and loot.

Object highlighting now optional in Deus Ex: Human Revolution

Eidos Montreal has listened to the fan community and have announced that object highlighting in Deus Ex: Human Revolution will now be optional, a feature that can be toggled on or off. One of the concerns of the community was that the feature made the game too easy and also ruined the look of the game as well.

Images of 'Project Zulu' have appeared on the web sourced from the development version of Xbox Live Marketplace. It says "BioWare presents" the project.

It's a "fantasy role playing action adventure in space!" There are DLC test packs listed as well. The description says there's no multiplayer or co-op in 'Zulu'.

We have the alleged box art for Blizzard's Diablo III now available to drool over provided the Polish retailer didn't just get bored and make up a placeholder.

It looks rather convincing and appears to advertise a code for World of Warcraft on the front, which StarCraft 2 did. This is as close as we can get right now people!

Online retailer Amazon, a professional bean spiller, has listed Fallout: New Vegas. This is the much coveted Game of the Year Edition though and it's for all.

This would mean all the updates so far and all available DLC for it would be bundled together. New Vegas is believed to be receiving 3 bits of DLC.

PC Fable III lead designer Josh Atkins has said they've had to make things more challenging for PC players because they want it that way; enemies not so sluggish.

The game's UI has been overhauled to be "more mouse-specific" so clicking is a-okay. They want to avoid "half-done port" criticisms, which is why it's taking so long.

Bioware has announced that the 1.02 patch for Dragon Age II is now available for download. The developer is warning that AMD and NVIDIA have recently released new graphics-card drivers, and gamers would be wise to update their drivers or the old ones may cause Dragon Age II to crash, run poorly, or display graphics incorrectly.

They also advise: "Some plot fixes are retroactive, but not all. Players with plot-breaking bugs may need to revert to an earlier save, particularly a save prior to visiting the affected area during the current year in the game."

LinkedIn has betrayed many secrets of the videogame industry, sometimes to reveal Assassin's Creed 3 or some other hush-hush game is in development, and sometimes to show games that had been started then aborted.

Fans of the martial arts RPG from Bioware, Jade Empire, will tear their hair out finding out that Jade Empire 2 had started development in 2006 for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, as the LinkedIn resume of former BioWare designer Rafael Jabulani Brown.

Dragon Age: Origins and Mass Effect 2 are critically acclaimed with big sales figures under their belts, but what's under everyone's skin is the "poorly-thought-out DRM".

Ars Technica reports that for 3/4 days users have been "unable to play" their DA:O saved games because EA servers were down - "incompetence and malicious neglect".
