This new version which won't "use the PS3 browser" any longer, was the result of feedback from PAL PS3 gamers, that being the region not a comment upon their skin complexion.
This new store design will need everyone to upgrade to the new 2.30 firmware, which Sony is yet to fully announce. | |

They plan for MotoGP's 2008 season to reach Xbox360, PS3, PC, Wii, PS2 and mobiles. It will also include the top manufacturers Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki along with some top riders.
Capcom now also control K2, the studio responsible for the Tenchu and Valhalla Knights games. | |

After the recent publication of The Byron Review, which looked into the games industry and online access for children, Dr Tanya Byron has cautioned against laying blame on gaming.
She feels they are a far more positive influence than a negative one and that people should "get a grip" on the real issues of debate and "stop panicking". | |

The script is set and now all they need is to attach a director and they plan to see the project finished for summer in 2010. The game is packed with action, guts and guns - we should see something beautiful happen.
Handling the script is Stuart Beattie who describes the movie as being an "enormous film". | |

With big names of the film industry launching and expanding their foothold in gaming, and with games publishers now returning the favour with movie projects - this move by Viacom is hardly surprising.
The film giant will be focusing on new and catalogued IPs for casual and mobile gaming. | |

Many gamers and fans of the GT series have been left feeling a little blue as the promised day early release of Prologue over PSN yesterday never materialized. Supposedly it won't appear until Saturday "at the earliest".
The game is available in stores today, and there will hopefully be an official statement from Sony today. This no-show might be related to the recent breach of the PlayStation Store. | |

Grand Theft Auto IV is going to be game of the year. In that spirit Rockstar Games has decided to let all those GTA fans/nuts prove their mettle by launching a stat tracking site for leaderboards and walls of fame.
Apparently the first 10 to complete the game 100% will receive an "ultra-rare" key to Liberty City. | |

The clip shows some quick action. Far Cry 2 boasts an open world environment, 50-km wide in a failed African state stricken with conflict. It all starts with an objective to remove an arms dealer peddling weapons to both sides. It also confirms the game will see an autumn release date from Ubisoft. | |

They have issued a statement claiming that a small number of accounts could have had their passwords altered by unauthorised access. This would leave personal user data and their Store wallet vulnerable to the intruder.
They are quick to point out that no complete records of credit card numbers are held on the Store, so fraud is "very unlikely." How reassuring. | |
