| RockStar sets Midnight Club: Los Angeles for September | |

 RockStar Games announced this afternoon that its upcoming racer for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, Midnight Club: Los Angeles, will be released worldwide in September. Both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions will be released in the US on Steptember 9th, with Europeans getting it a little later on 12th September. There will also be a PSP version, but no release date has been set for that as of yet. | |

 Blizzard has essentially laughed the German director out of their offices, and certainly right out of Azeroth.
"We will not sell the movie rights, not to you... especially not to you," was apparently Paul Sams reply, to which Azeroth was pronounced saved! | |

 The comic-book based FPS that injected a delicious slice of 'The Darkness' onto Xbox360 and PS3 back in 2007 has been 'winked'. Apparently there is a sequel in the works but its unknown if Starbreeze Studios is behind the demonic outing and Jackie Estacado's return. | |

 Epic Games has confirmed to Shacknews that there will be no demo released before or after the launch of Gears of War 2 on the Xbox 360, currently set for release in November. | |

 The open beta will begin on May 1st at 3 pm (GMT) but only those who’ve signup up with FilePlanet will get the chance to taste the highly anticipated MMO.
The whole game won't be available to beta testers, there's a cap at level 13 and a majority of locales are off limits. It's purely "final stress testing" says Gaute Godager. | |

 While remaining elusive, Rein has confirmed in his own manner that the upcoming Unreal Tournament 3 coming to Xbox360 will feature something "you might want to keep a close eye on."
He also said Gears of War was definitely worth an 8 and that Gears of War 2 should go beyond. | |

 The UD studio was working on the PS3 version of Quake Wars which is due out in the US on May 27th and on the 30th elsewhere.
Formerly known as Z-Axis they have developed many a game during the studios lifetime, it was bought by Activision in 2002. | |

Majesty 2 – The Fantasy Kingdom Sim will focus on reinventing many aspects of the original game, updating the franchise for the 21st Century.
