Undead Labs' State of Decay, the zombie survival sandbox for Xbox Live Arcade, has gone and "smashed all kinds of records" like its players have gone and caved in so many zombie craniums.
A quarter of a million units shifted in just 48 hours, with only Mojang's Minecraft having sold faster. The studio can't find the words to "describe the feeling," as this is their first official studio release.

The Las Vegas-based Petroglyph Games will be shutting down their MOBA Battle For Graxia June 27th after it has failed to achieve a sustainable community for the studio. They no longer accept purchases of currency.
Free currency has been given to current players with plans to make all items free after its last tournament. Petroglyph "reserve the right to bring BFG back" in the future, and it is their hope to do so.

Their focus on a lot of TV and Kinect functionality with very little actual gaming was quite the disappointment, but now it's "all games at Xbox." We can expect to see "20 titles on stage."
