The game is available in stores today, and there will hopefully be an official statement from Sony today. This no-show might be related to the recent breach of the PlayStation Store.

That's 3 weeks a head of the US release. The day after on March 28 will see the Blu-ray version with both carrying a £24.99 tag, unless you choose the PS3 bundle priced at £299 also available on March 28.
Oddly the downloadable version isn't any cheaper than getting it on disc, but at least the EU version carries more content that its Japanese counterpart.
