Apparently the next Ghost Recon instalment will be flirting with some motion control for Xbox 360, including Project Natal in a special game mode.

Square Enix has decided to thank gamers that purchased Just Cause 2 by allowing a pimped-out ice cream van - the Chevalier Ice Breaker - to be downloaded for free across the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

Painkiller developer People Can Fly are working on something called 'Bulletstorm' after all, as Epic Games now confirm the title for late next year.
It's in partnership with EA. Bulletstorm is set in the 26th century and we're part of a former black-ops team. It's to come out for Xbox 360 and PC.

Creative director Maxime Beland has revealed that the original vision for Splinter Cell: Conviction got dumped for being too radical.
It didn't follow the core values, in fact it was "anti-Splinter Cell" with no shadowy stealth, goggles or sweet gadgets. It got a royal rebooting.

Publisher Sega has offered confirmation that their Iron Man and Golden Axe: Beast Rider development studio has indeed been shuttered.

Publisher Ubi has denied that the two week delay to PC Splinter Cell: Conviction is anything to do with their highly controversial new DRM system.
The game was given "extra time" by the studio to "polish and debug" further. The PC version releases two weeks later than on the Xbox 360.

Remedy's upcoming Alan Wake for Xbox 360 was coming to PC as well, but the studio's small size of "about 50 people" had them drop it.
