Rumour-mill: EA is closing down Pandemic Studios, ending 11 years
According to sources publisher, EA is shutting down Pandemic Studios, the talent behind Star Wars Battlefront and Mercenaries games.
About 200 staffers are affected by this rumoured closure, with those not let go being moved to other developers. It's all unconfirmed for now.

While it's available in Japan on PS3 already, From Software's retro-style 3D Dot Game Heroes is to arrive on US shores next year in May.

Publisher Activision says Russia has no "formal ratings entity" and that the decision to censor out the airport scene was their own doing.

Developer Gearbox is chuffed their new IP Borderlands is doing so well, especially given the surrounding releases of big boy sequels.

At first it was believed that every Xbox 360 Assassin's Creed 2 included a demo for Splinter Cell: Conviction, or at least a code to download it.

Square Enix president Yoichi Wada has been talking at the Montreal Games Summit and confirmed that the firm has its first global game in development at Eidos Montreal, along with Thief 4 and Dues Ex 3.
"This will be the first collaboration between Square Enix and Montreal," said Wada. "We would like to be able to create an new title that is made by the group as one."

That it took this long is surprising. Russia has decided they don't want Modern Warfare 2 'as is' because of the airport level controversy.
Although it's entirely an optional level, as is the murder of civilians, Russia want it edited out. Infinity is complying with PC already patched.
