More words of wisdom from RIFT front-man Will Cook. This time he's asserting that his MMO has more end-game content than any MMO launch, ever.

"I'm not worried about the amount of content in our game, especially end-game," he told Strategy Informer in an interview.

Here we go again, folks. Another countdown has popped up, much like Bethesda's countdown to the The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim reveal trailer. This one, however, is at a site called findmakarov.com, which industry writers were directed to from a set of dog tags sent to them by Activision.

Developer bitComposer Games and Koch Media have announced Wildlife Park 3 for PC is releasing this April 8th. It features a twenty-mission campaign.

It's also got 25 different land and water species and a "comprehensive lexicon" to go with them. Animal behaviour and movement is "meticulously reproduced".

Killzone 3 is now released in Europe for PS3 and the second helping of DLC coming to the Guerrilla Games shooter is called 'Steel Rain', offering 2 maps.

It follows the Retro Map Pack. The first is Junkyard and it's a Guerrilla Warfare game type, and the second is Stahl Arms and it's a Warzone. Video is up.

MMO World of Tanks is kept up and running in North America by a "large private data center complex" owned by Caronet; it's a "uniquely designed network".

It's "fully redundant and self-healing" to keep those tanks online and blasting each other. Caronet "fully satisfies" Wargaming.net's needs for World of Tanks.

SEGA date Virtua Tennis 4 for US May 10th, Europe April 29th

The latest instalment of Virtua Tennis from SEGA has just had its official release dates announced, and Europe will be whacking those balls first.

Virtua Tennis 4 is their "strongest ever" character roster. It releases for Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii in Europe April 29th, and in North America May 10th.

Publisher Mastertronic have also announced that Croteam's Serious Sam HD First & Second Encounter will be retailing boxed copies for Xbox 360.

The First & Second Encounter titles, remade in HD, will be releasing exclusively for Xbox 360 in shops this March 4th. They want to tap the 14m European Xboxes.

Team 17's Alien Breed Trilogy will be boxed and peddling through retailers for the first time on Xbox 360. Up until now it has been a digital-only property.

It features the "complete collection" of Alien Breed titles released on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Evolution, Assault and Descent are all redeveloped episodes.

UK SFX firm The Mill starts games division, ex-SCEE boss helms

The Oscar-winning special effects company The Mill, based in London's Soho, has started up a videogames division headed by former SCEE man Arran Green.

Green and The Mill collaborated on some "fantastic projects" while he was at Sony. They're a "true tour de force" in the VFX world he says; already works in industry.

Eidos post image of Thief 4, playtest shot shows third-person

Developer Eidos Montreal has posted a photograph of Thief 4 being playtested at the studio. It shows leading man Garrett, bow in hand, in third-person.

Very little is known about Thief 4 as Eidos and Square Enix have kept quiet. At least fans know to expect third-person views in the game, at least during archery.

BBC announce Doctor Who MMO

California-based Three Rings is developing an MMO based on the BBC's Doctor Who franchise, and it's expected to be launched this year free-to-play.

We can look forward to "time-bending puzzles" in the Doctor Who: Worlds in Time MMO. They want to tap into the "imaginative spirit and depth" of the series.

Bizarre Creations is no more but some former big brains behind the Liverpool studio have just formed Lucid Games and they're hiring more developers.

They've got the "great history of Bizarre" behind Lucid, declares managing director Pete Wallace. Hiring new blood "not about qualifications" but attitude.

Warriors: Legends of Troy US website stripped of Xbox 360 logos

The Microsoft, Xbox Live and Xbox 360 logos and trademarks have disappeared from the US website for Warriors: Legends of Troy, while PlayStation remains.

KOEI Canada is developing the Warriors' spin-off. The European website continues to include both platform logos. It's rated M by ESRB and 18 by PEGI.

Victory Games to handle Command & Conquer IP

Electronic Arts has announced that the Command & Conquer IP is now in the hands of newly formed developer Victory Games. The new studio is reportedly headed by Jon Van Canegham, who managed the Command & Conquer brand for EA Los Angeles and previously created the classic Might & Magic roleplaying games.
