We've all been wondering how much Rock Band is going to cost in the UK, many believe that it'll be over £100, although EA has made no official announcement about a price point. But an online shop called Scan.co.uk believes that the complete Game, which includes Fender Stratocaster Guitar/ Drum + Sticks Controllers & Microphone, will cost £158.61 Inc VAT. That's what they've got listed. | |

Ubisoft had an unnamed air combat game announced last year but now it can be confirmed as Tom Clancy's HAWX. It will have a single player campaign with support for up to 4 players in co-op mode.
It uses an "Enhanced Reality System", which if switched off will give greater freedom but make the game much harder. | |

The Penny Arcade team have launched the beta version of its new digital distribution service called Greenhouse, which will work much like Gamers Gate or Steam as players will be able to purchase independent titles and then download them straight to the PC. The only title that has currently been announced for Greenhouse is Penny Arcade Adventures - On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness: Episode One which will be sold for $19.95, although no release date has been provided on the website but it should be released fairly soon. | |

Or specifically, that 72% played a game. Played a game? Well now, that means 72% of people are just so lucky, aren't they? No, really, we know that it's anyone who's had an internet connection has played an internet game, whether they know it or not. Then again, if 72% know it, that means over 200 million Americans admit to having played some videogame in one way or another. | |

Sierra Entertainment announced today that the Robert Ludlum's The Bourne Conspiracy video game will hit retail stores in the UK on the 27th June, 2008 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The game will bring Jason Bourne's great style of combat to life by blending a seamless mix of hand-to-hand fighting, gunplay and dramatic escapes. | |

Epic Games will be teasing gamers with "a glimpse into" their upcoming and highly anticipated sequel to Gears of War. The squad will only be there on the last day, April 20th.
There'll be EVE Online, Warhammer Online, Age of Conan, Ironman and others will be making an appearance too. Oh and I guess there'll be a few comics around or something for the purists. | |

Jane Barnett has conducted a study of just under 300 gamers between the age of 12 and 83 playing World of Warcraft, and she claims to have found them more relaxed afterward.
She'll be showcasing her findings at the British Psychological Society's Annual Conference being held in Dublin. | |

Brad Ruminer, Dennis Booth and Glenn O'Bannon form the new TimeFly development studio. They'll develop both original creations and licensed IPs, their own stuff has already met approval from Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo.
Not a bad start for a fresh studio with over 30 years of experience already in-house. | |

They plan for MotoGP's 2008 season to reach Xbox360, PS3, PC, Wii, PS2 and mobiles. It will also include the top manufacturers Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki along with some top riders.
Capcom now also control K2, the studio responsible for the Tenchu and Valhalla Knights games. | |
