Microsoft secured an exclusive first launch in Europe for Rock Band with the other platforms editions releasing "later this summer".
Online retailer Play.com set the speculating drums on fire with a September 26 date for PS3 and PS2. EA deny this is official information whilst symbolically trashing a hotel room. | |

Strauss Zelnick has revealed that T2 has been researching "pretty aggressively" on in-game ads for Sports titles and micro-transaction ideas for other properties.
He wants episodic content to be a profitable model for high quality titles but it must have value to the consumer, so character wigs and novelty horns should work fine. | |

KOEI has confirmed to Eurogamer that Fatal Inertia EX will arrive later in the UK and will available to purchase from the PlayStation Store on 19th June. No official price point has been mentioned, but its reported to be around £15. | |

The team behind Lord of the Rings Online have announced they are pursuing a console project in an interview with Kotaku.
