Ubisoft Toronto managing director Jade Raymond features in a quick video tour of the brand new studio digs for the publisher, which already has 83 devs.

Within 10 years they want "at least 800" staff and they're"ahead of schedule on that" she reveals. Splinter Cell 6 being developed 'entirely in Toronto'.

Many fans were shocked to find that Sonic the Hedgehog 4, a remake of the original Genesis Sonic the Hedgehog, included a thing called 'physics'.

This kept our blue spike haired guy grounded more than usual, but the project was never a "straight port" argued Takashi Iizuka. They want our feedback.

Batman: Arkham City focuses on "Batman himself," no vehicles

Developer Rocksteady has confirmed there "aren't any playable vehicles" in Batman: Arkham City, just like in Arkham Asylum, as Batman is the star.

In fact he's "the ultimate vehicle" so you don't need another. They want to keep the game uncomplicated and pure it seems. World premiere at the VGAs.

Publisher Ubisoft isn't content with managing to blow our socks off just this year with Assassin's Creed, they also want us killing for liberty in 2011.

VGA 'Murder Your Maker' tease

A website entitled Murder Your Maker has gone up with a super tease for Spike's Video Game Awards, and it's got a bald guy presumably brooding.

Speculation is aflame and some believe this could be a sequel to Radical Entertainment's Prototype, starring the dark hero Alex Mercer (aka Blacklight).

Next GTA "likely" in Take-Two's fiscal 2012, worth about $750m

Janco Partners analyst Mike Hickey believes Take-Two and Rockstar will "likely" unleash the next GTA between April 1st, 2011 and March 31st, 2012.

He firmly states it will be another huge blockbuster for the studio and will sell upward of 16m copies worldwide, raking in approximately $750m.

Ubisoft has announced the first DLC for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and its releasing entirely free, adding a new game mode and fresh locale.

The Advanced Alliance mode is more difficult than the original, with target finding a bigger challenge. Mont Saint-Michel is the new multiplayer map.

Konami's "reinvented" Castlevania hits 1m "remarkable sales"

The release of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow in early October has now racked up 1 million sales in Europe and North America, pleasing Konami.

The series has "truly reinvented itself" and these "remarkable sales" stand as a "true testament" to the game's developers. Not out in Japan yet.

Portal 2 delayed until April 18th

Valve's Portal franchise ...and a delay? Yes it's true but this is the "shortest delay" yet in the studio's "proud tradition of delays", so there's little need to fret.

Apparently this is something to celebrate as it signals a "convergence of Valve Time and Real Time," they joke. It now retails April 18th in North America.

Disney and TT Games developing LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean video game

Disney Interactive Studios and TT Games today announced that it's developing LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

The video games will be released simultaneously with the new film "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" in May 2011.

Germany's USK says nein to Splatterhouse, banned from selling

The German ratings board USK is not impressed with Splatterhouse and have refused to classify it for sale, thus rendering the title banhammered.

The ultra-violent Xbox 360 and PS3 game was just too much and so won't be releasing November 26th, unlike most other places on planet Earth.

LucasArts are providing us with another 'what if?' DLC scenario with Starkiller for The Force Unleashed II. It assumes you went all Dark Side, you scamp.

Ubisoft Montreal producer Vincent Pontbriand has admitted that the publisher wants to do better with DLC for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, as he feels that some fans felt cheated with the DLC that it released for Assassin's Creed 2.

"We wish to do better. I think people felt cheated at the impression that there was stuff that didn't make it into the game. It's frustrating since I can understand that view but it wasn't our intentions at all." said Pontbriand.

The launch of Dead Rising 2: Case Zero was a hit for Capcom, providing a prologue to Chuck Greene's main role in Dead Rising 2 - they want more.

Capcom have said it's a sure bet they'll "bridge a link" to Dead Rising 3 with more digital bite size releases, but they "don't want to say episodic" - yuck.

Ubisoft has revealed during an investors call last night that Ghost Recon: Future Soldier and Driver: San Francisco have been delayed into Ubisoft's 2012 financial year.

These titles had previously been scheduled for release during Q1 2011, but this change means they could be released anywhere after April 1, 2011.

ZEN Studios and Marvel Entertainment has announced Marvel Pinball, a collaboration combining great comic book characters with a videogame pinball experience on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade.

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood is out today in the US and on Friday in the UK, but will Ubisoft develop another Assassin's Creed for 2011? And will it be Assassin's Creed 3?

Nothing is official at the moment but CEO of Ubisoft, Yves Guillemot, revealed during a financial briefing call yesterday that there will be something Assassin's in 2011.

Hoping to ride on the huge success of TV series Star Wars: The Clone Wars on Cartoon Network, we have LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars.

It takes place solely during the Clone War era with 20 story-based missions and 40 bonus levels. It's also got RTS style Clone vs. Droid battles.

Angry Birds coming to XBLA and PSN?

At the Social Gaming Summit in London, Rovio CEO Peter Vesterbacka revealed that the hit iPhone game Angry Birds will be appearing on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network in the near future.

Little is known at the moment, but Vesterbacka did talk about the forthcoming Angry Birds multiplayer mode, and revealed that it will resemble “old school Worms”. Let's hope the multiplayer component will be ready in time for the XBLA and PSN versions.
