Posting on his personal blog, Bethesda's Fallout 3 producer Ashley Cheng has voiced his lamentations over Blizzard's "conservative side" on Diablo III and StarCraft II.
He hails the doubtless success they'll receive saying they'll be "incredibly fun, addictive and polished games." Some Blizzard fans seem to have taken this as an 'attack'. | |

Blizzard's VP Rob Pardo confirmed that there is an unannounced fourth game in development, he reaffirmed the job hunt for next-gen MMO staffers wasn't linked to Diablo III or World of Warcraft.
Some speculate this could be a World of Starcraft, or perhaps Blizzard is finally going to announce a completely new franchise. | |

During our search for the Diablo Battle Chest bundle on Play.com, we noticed that Diablo III is available for pre-order at £24.99, and has a release date of 27th March, 2009. Could this be the intended release date for Diablo III? We cannot be sure until Blizzard officially announces it, as retail listings are often incorrect. But since its Diablo III, we wanted to let you know. | |

The announcement of Diablo III in Paris last weekend has increased the sales of Blizzard's Diablo Battle Chest bundle, as its currently number one on the bestseller chart at Amazon.com. The pack was released many years ago, and includes Diablo, Diablo II, and The Lord of Destruction expansion pack along with two guides. | |

Blizzard's upcoming expansion to World of Warcraft apparently has done away with, or at least masks, the average "kill-30-of-this number" quests.
During their live blogging at the Blizzard Worldwide Invitational they say the new tasks players will come into contact with won't be so bland and generic. | |

Any fans looking to get their Guild War on with ArenaNet's sequel to their greatly successful free-to-play MMO will be waiting quite a bit longer.
The team want more time so that when the beta does start they hope players will be "absolutely blown away by the game". That's one ambitious beta. | |
