Sony Online Entertainment's Free Realms has now got one million registered users, with the lucky one millionth getting free lifetime membership.
The positive response to the free-to-play MMO has been "overwhelming" say Sony, who are also handing out free in-game items for other users in celebration. PS3 port still coming.

Scott Miller, co-founder of the Duke Nukem factory 3D Realms, has hit back at Take-Two's "100 percent spin" that they forked over 12 big ones.
Adding that they "cannot talk yet" about events, Miller hints they intend to "soon..." Take-Two have filed a lawsuit against Apogee for raining on their Duke Nukem Forever publishing parade.

Atari have confirmed that the superhero MMO Champions Online has been pushed back from late July to early September for beta polishing.
Developers Cryptic simply need more time to "implement certain features", so now the game arrives on September 1st in the US and on the 4th in Europe. Have your puns ready!

Blizzard knows how to make games, so it stands to reason then they also know how to throw a party about those games - fans agree this principle logic.
In fact they agreed so much that the first block of BlizzCon tickets that went up for sale on Saturday were sold in less than an hour. Is Grunty the murloc marine that popular? Yes.

Okay so perhaps not 'every week', but it's going to run for at least six weeks which is like forever for us gamer types.

New boss Yosuke Hayashi of Team Ninja has revealed the developer has intentions of more in the Ninja Gaiden series, the "calling is already there".

A rumour surfaced that the PC only Battlefield Heroes would in fact be making its way onto Xbox 360 and PS3, but that's a load of tosh say EA.
They're adamant it's "tailor-made for PC" what with it being free to download and play, backed up with micro-transactions and in-game adverts. Gamers "don't need" super-computer.

The PC specifications for the upcoming new S.T.A.L.K.E.R. from developers GSC have been released on their official website; they're not apocalyptic.

An announcement is due on May 18th that will reveal Kojima Productions' "Next" project to anxious fans, but that hasn't stopped them place holding a tease.

Rogue Squadron developer Factor 5 is no more, but they're quick to point out their German counterparts are a separate entity.

It's all Apogee's fault say publisher Take-Two, they're the ones who've screwed us all by "continually" throwing up delays for Duke Nukem Forever.
