Rise of the Godslayer tells the story of an Empire slowly spiraling into chaos, as a consequence of the actions of a young Conan many years ago. After killing the Elephant God in the famous Robert E. Howard story `The Tower of the Elephant', strange and horrible things have been happening to the Empire of Khitai. As a player you must explore the dark roads of the Empire and walk the path of the Godslayer as you unravel a mature and deep storyline full of brutal conflict and political intrigue.

| Funcom has announced in its developer update that the crafting system of free-to-play MMO Age of Conan has been completely revamped. According to the developer, “This is a totally new system. When we sat down and looked at the system and how we could add depth and improve engagement, it became clear that it was better to start over. So rather than try and shoe-horn what we had into something a little more useable, we decided to bite the proverbial bullet and start over.” |

| Funcom announced today the launch of 'House of Crom', a free update for massively multiplayer online game Age of Conan: Unchained. This content update offers the chance to explore the ancient halls of The House of Crom, a location that stretches over two vast in-game dungeons. | 3.1 update to Age of Conan now live (0) |
| The 3.1 update to Age of Conan has been released, and according to developer Funcom, it "includes many improvements and updates to the Dreamworld Technology which also should improve both server and client performance on various levels." Namely, the graphic engine will be overhauled using nVidia's PhysX physics engine, as well as streamlining the netcode. |
