The AI will be installed for The Asian Dynasties expansion Pack. A backup is also included of the original files
If you have Age of Empires III Complete Collection via Steam, the file path is this:
My Computer/Local Disk/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Age Of Empires III/bin/AI3
Thus you should experience changes in the AI in the first 40 seconds of the game; the AI build their decks at around 35 seconds. Prepare for the fun experience!
Note: as a disclaimer, this AI is meant supremely for Supremacy and Deathmatch games (in which deathmatch games ought to be played in Post-Imperial to enjoy the best possibilities of the AI, sometimes giving the AI a 20% handicap). It can play treaty, but will train soldiers before it trains economy. I have a theory that this can change, but I will not admit it easy possible.
Also note the AI tries to build 80 villagers; and include much better cards, and sends them during a right time in the game. You will notice more of the better cards on higher homecity levels, especially levels 25+ (Level 25 is where most of their best cards are enabled). Due to bugs, the AI does not include any Level 40 Homecity cards, but nevertheless plays moderately competitively in most stages of the game.
I have done my utmost to make them build more infantry and cavalry, make all AIs favour sometimes accessing trade routes and native settlements, while others still do them more, and make the game a more enjoyable experience altogether.
