On a decommissioned trading station in the fringes of space, fear and panic have gripped the inhabitants. Players find themselves in an atmosphere of constant dread and mortal danger as an unpredictable, ruthless Xenomorph is stalking and killing deep in the shadows. Underpowered and underprepared, you must scavenge resources, improvise solutions and use your wits, not just to succeed in your mission, but to simply stay alive.

|Creative Assembly are handling one hot potato of an IP as they develop Alien: Isolation, as the last time the franchise scurried out through a vent it got chased right back in from critics and fans alike.
However the Total War creator sees this as a validation of their own vision and approach, which is taking everything back to the original film. No more gun runs.

|Creative Assembly is developing Alien: Isolation and they us in a room with a big bad xeno with no guns, maybe a wrench, and a whole lot of panic. It's not enough to just 'pile-drive' us into the ground in fear though.
The team recognise for that true survival horror experience we need to catch a break now and then, and they soon saw testers give a "sigh of relief when they got to the airlock."

|It's super official now as SEGA and Creative Assembly have just unleashed an announcement gameplay trailer for Alien: Isolation, as well as a behind-the-scenes developer diary for the horror game.
The gameplay footage is all in-engine and represents a "work in progress" warns Creative. Confirmed is the role of Amanda, Ripley's daughter, and a stalking xenomorph.
