Bohemia Interactive has announced that it will be debuting ArmA 3 for the first time at E3 2012, followed by an appearance at Gamescom. This will be followed by what the developer calls a "Community Alpha" as the public will be allowed to test an early playable build of the game.

PC exclusive Arma 3 has been quietly delayed by developer Bohemia Interactive as no reason was given why the military simulator has slipped from summer to the autumn/winter months.
Arma 3 is an "open-ended & story-driven" instalment and it takes advantage of PhysX "supporting vehicle simulation," and a revamped animation system. Set on a Mediterranean island.

Bohemia designer Ivan Buchta has revealed the single player campaign gameplay that players will enjoy in ArmA 3.
One of the new features of the militaristic, hardcore shooter is that players can earn "quests" that relate to the game's main story, or can undergo "side-quests" to upgrade their gear, support, vehicles or earn better intel.

Bohemia Interactive today announced that it will be developing a brand new instalment in its series of realistic military simulators. Arma 3 will be developed exclusively for the PC and will be released in Summer 2012.
Arma 3 promises to offer gamers radical engine improvements and a unique sandbox-style military gameplay experience. Bohemia says that Arma 3 will be set in the most detailed environment of the series to date.
