Rumour: Leaked images reveal Assassin's Creed in Paris, two games due in 2014

Images have leaked online and it reveals a future Assassin's Creed set in the French capital, with notable Parisian landmarks adorning the city sprawl. It's either called or codenamed 'Unity'.

Interestingly this isn't said to be the only new major Assassin's Creed due later this year, as another called or codenamed 'Comet' is also scheduled. Every fall a new entry has released.

It's been a few years since the original Assassin's Creed released, and there's been four major new titles since then. Obviously it's time for a bundle. Ubisoft usher in the Assassin's Creed Heritage Collection.

They bill it as a "high value compilation" starting with the original haystack-diver Altair in Assassin's Creed all the way through to frontier-exploring Connor in Assassins' Creed III.

Ubisoft has released the second part of its The Tyranny of the King DLC for Assassin's Creed 3. In this episode, Ratonhnhake:ton will receive a new power that grants him the ability to fly short distances. He will also meet a new ally that may aid his quest against George Washington.

Publisher Ubisoft is expanding their Uplay Store to include third-party titles from the likes of rivals EA and Warner Brothers. They want more of the digital distribution pie in the PC market.

This shows Ubisoft's "commitment to PC," claims Uplay director Stephanie Perotti. They know they've got a chequered past with desktop gamers, and say PC Far Cry 3 and AC3 were "very high quality."

Ubisoft is apparently gearing up to release a bundle of Ghost Recon titles with Advanced Warfighter 1 & 2 and the latest Future Soldier all bunking together in the Ghost Recon Anthology.

That's not all as they also plan for a Washington Edition for Assassin's Creed III, which presumably would include all the Tyranny of King Washington DLC. Both are rumoured for a spring release.
