The team over at Rocksteady Studios are apparently still donning the Dark Knight cape as they work on something called 'Batman: Arkham Origins' for next-gen consoles. A report claims it's a prequel.
It's said to be inspired by the Silver Age comics and features Justice League notables Superman and Green Lantern. It will unveil at E3 and release this autumn, claim sources.

The online work portfolio of Virtuos' Daniel Wang states that the outsourcing studio is busy working with Warner's third Batman: Arkham title and that they're using Unreal Engine 3 under the cape.
This means it won't be going exclusive to next-gen platforms, which are all said to be using Epic Games' Unreal Engine 4. Virtuos worked with Rocksteady on Batman: Arkham City.

In their financials to investors, Warner Brothers has revealed another Batman: Arkham game is due soon as they expect to post a "very strong year in 2013." Revenue hopes are pinned to the Dark Knight.
Rocksteady Studios is said to be uninvolved with this particular Batman release. It's unclear if they mean calendar or fiscal year 2013, but either way a new Batman action adventure is swooping in.

It seems that Paul Dini, who was the writer for both Batman: The Animated Series as well as Rocksteady's two Batman titles, won't be working on the next Batman game.
