kysterama of the AIX mod team took it upon himself to complete an unfinished BF2 sniper rifle buried in BF2's files. Here's what he had to say...
DasRoach was finalizing some more pickup kits for AIX today and said it would be cool if we could get the m82a1 into a pickup kit. We both knew it has been an unfinished Dice weapon since the first install of BF2 1.0 with a few various 'fixed' versions popping up here and there in the past, but none truly fixing the scope issue. So I took the challenge tonight and got it done. As this is a vanilla Dice weapon, Roachy and I thought it should be "community ware" and not be an AIX thang, so enjoy ;)
- Flickering mesh issues fixed on the sight and magazine
- Zoom animation issues fixed
- Completely custom scope and reticle model added
- Sounds comps completed and tweak finished
Included Readme has install instructions.
It's pretty powerful so tweak it how you like ;) And seeing as it's not my weapon feel free to use it any mod that you like.
