Description:

This mod changes the weapons, vehicles, and soldiers in the game (BF2) to be more
ridiculously unrealistic, while making the game more fun. Weapons have more ammo,
fire faster, fire explosive shells or just something that explodes. Vehicles all have more
ammo, go much faster, to the point where it might be too fast, if there is such a thing,
then they just fly. Soldiers run much faster and jump way higher, carry more weapons,
not all of which are made to be shot at someone. If you are looking for a realism mod,
this is not for you, but if you are tired of realistic stuff this mod is for you. The name, "WTF
Mod" is not meant to insult anyone in any way, it refers more to "What the heck is going
on in the world" (The world being BF2) and presumably what many peoples reactions
to the mod will be.

V4.0 Changes
============
-light vehicles have sprint
-GLs have automatic firing mode
-planes can fly at lower speed without crashing
-Heli gunner MGs fire flack from their factions AAV
-Teams and kits renamed
-Other text changes
-shotgun ROF reduced slightly for less lag
-light jeeps have driver controlled weapons
-Some vehicle graphics files changed and some made invisible
-Arty = nuke
-Grappling hock added to all kits
-Vehicles are easier to drive
-Recoil gun added to kits (send you flying in opposite direction gun is pointing)
-Tank driver MG fires bombs
-PP-19, L85A1, and G36C spawn tanks
-Many weapons explosive power changed (made larger mostly)
-Snipers fire missiles that seek people
-Increased air vehicles HP
-Some vehicles have changed seating positions
-Silenced pistols no longer fire flashbangs, fire invisible explosion
-supply creates look like nukes
-AT rockets more maneuverable + hand held tows/hj8
-C4 explosion changed to smaller so it would not blow up commander assets from in your own base
-Soldiers launched into air when exiting a vehicle
-Tank main gun has 30 rounds
MEC/China get 50. cal MGs, US gets mini gun
-Claymores hover and stick to vehicles
-All friendly vehicles are spawnpoints
-Vehicles have radar
-Holding down the sprint key only while in a vehicle will make the vehicle fly
-Skins changed, but are either incomplete and/or are most likely to be changed.

4.0 Beta Nuke Em Changes

All silenced pistols fire nukes

Install:

1. Run the .exe, install to your BF2 mods folder.

2. Play the mod!

3. Play the mod by going to the community button > custom games > WTF mod nuke em' and press start. or by the shortcut.
3b: to create a shortcut, right click your desktop, make the Target: "C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +modPath mods/WTFM_4Beta_Nuke_Em +fullscreen 0 (leave the quotation marks) and the Start in : "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\" (leave the quotation marks) To make it the WTF mod Icon, click on "Change Icon..." and find the WTF Mod icon in E:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\mods\WTFM_4Beta_Nuke_Em\Objects. The shortcut is now ready.
4. Have fun!

(no more need to copy maps)

To use the deathmatch maps on LAN: Go into the mod's levels folder. In there will
be another folder called "Deathmatch maps" move those maps into the mods levels
folder, replaceing any other version of the map that was in the mod. Now when you
load those maps, they will be for deathmatch. No Single player supported for Deathmatch.

To add bots to single player, just play coop and increase/decrease the number of bots to your liking. (Also, just a hint, turn off friendly fire.)

To remove the blood effect delete the existing soldiers files from the objectsserver.zip in the
WTF mod folder, and then open the "Soldiers with no blood" folder in the file you downloaded,
and take the folders that are in there and place them where you deleted the other soldier
files from (Default: C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\mods\WTF_mod_V3.0\Objects_server.zip\soldiers

If you find the bot names offensive, go to C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\mods\WTF_mod_V4.0Beta_Nuke_em\AI
and delete the file named "BotNames"

Please post more ideas for the mod. I released the beta to get an idea of what I should/shouldn't do with
4.0, like the sniper rifle now firing missiles. In other words, to see if the community liked what i changed, and the
finally V4.0 will hopefully have finished skins and no features that people don't like.
