Forgotten Hope 2 is a mod for Battlefield 2. It aims to portrait World War II in a way no other multi-player first person shooter have done before, with a focus on historical accuracy and tactical gameplay. The concept of Forgotten Hope has a long history in the modding community and it's first incarnation was one of the most played mods available for Battlefield 1942
The current Forgotten Hope 2 version (2.2) covers the major and well known battles of the war, but also many not so known scenarios that played out in North Africa, Greece & Normandy.
In FH2 you can play as German, American, British, Canadian, Australian or Italian soldier and utilize an extensive arsenal of weapons and vehicles that accurately portrait the assets available in the real battles.
The gameplay in Forgotten Hope 2 is a team-play oriented meat grinder, where the chaos of World War II is captured in it's most glorious and gritty forms. Tank battles, artillery bombardments, dog-fights, rifleman firefights, close quarter shootouts and objective missions can be experienced in both Multi-player and Single-player/Coop game modes.
