Battlefield 2: Nights (version 0.95) - A Mini-Modification


Why a nights mini mod? This mod is basically my own

personal introduction into the Battlefield 2 modding

structure. Much thanks to pals Rex Hill and Ben Smith for

all their assistance.

Requirements


Battlefield 2 version 1.02 RETAIL!!!!


Install


Please remove any previous versions of this modification.

Windows Client users can simply use the installer.

Windows/Linux Dedicated Server users must extract the

bf2nights folder to their

Battlefield 2 Server/mods folder. Then copy over

"Common_server.zip", "Menu_server.zip", and

"Objects_server.zip" from "Battlefield 2 Server/mods/bf2/"

to

"Battlefield 2 Server/mods/bf2nights/".


Uninstall


Windows client users can simply use the uninstaller.

Windows/Linux Dedicated Server users can simply delete the

bf2nights folder from their mods folder.

Known Issues


- desert bush growth is not affected by sky.con lighting

values

- roads and few other statics were removed because they

were also not affected by sky.con lighting values
