Battleground 3: Waterloo, review by chiroho

Another good Battlegrounds gameI skipped the second game in the Battlegrounds series as the ACW simply didn't appeal to me. I was thus very excited when I saw that the third game was going to be Napoleonic, a period that I have figure wargamed for many years.
Overall this game was good. Once again you're basically moving counters on a map, only they're animated icons on your screen. The way that units are hidden if you can't see them is good, and I love the way a cavalry charge can cut down a nice group of infantry who aren't in square. Perhaps not as good overall as BG: Ardennes, but definitely a decent game. Posted on 05/19/2006 20:48
