This is the first Battleground title to tackle a subject that isn't a big name in Civil War history. The game actually covers two different battles which took place in roughly the same Virginian locale and both battles make for interesting gameplay and provide a host of scenarios. The game system remains turn-based with the basic paper war-game standards of movement, defensive fire, offensive fire, melee, and morale. And keeping to the series' fashion, the games are very easy to play, even for beginners.
