 Capcom have published a teaser site for their upcoming sequel announcement for Street Fighter, and it's marked September 29th with a time stamp of 17:00 JST. The teaser right now is just a short flash movie showing some black and white swirls with two fighters, similar to the style of IV's cinematics. The address of the site has 'newwarrior' in it. | |

 Capcom have pulled the most currently cruel PR stunt there is, they hinted of an upcoming announcement only to have said announcement be of an announcement. Not cool.
However, hurt feelings aside, this eventual news is believed to be of the next instalment in the franchise. While maybe not Street Fighter V, it's likely a turbo or something. | |

 The good news is that you'll be earning gamescore points and enjoying multiplayer for sure, that bad news is the GfW brand still doesn't have 'cool' street cred. That could all change though when Capcom's PC version of Street Fighter IV shows up and injects some much needeed volatile celebrity. At least PC gamers don't need to pay for online matches anymore... | |
