Ubisoft senior VP of sales and marketing, Tony Key, says Michel Ancel's new Rayman: Origins performing well will give him "more leeway for other opportunities" like Beyond Good & Evil 2.

Ubisoft's Yves Guillemot assures us from gamescom that Beyond Good & Evil 2 is still getting worked over, and they aim for it to be "perfect".

The sequel to Beyond Good & Evil is alive, really it is, and creator Michel Ancel explains that its team is small to help cultivate more creativity.
He also revealed they plan for "multiple" outcomes thanks to a branching storyline. Ancel plans to release the dev tools freely after it retails.
