Zombie Studios has announced that their free-to-play shooter Blacklight: Retribution will be available on Steam in the near future. The game will feature Steam achievements and stats, with some new content and items specifically for Steam users.

Free-to-play online first person shooter Blacklight: Retribution's closed beta will begin on November 10, according to publisher Perfect World. According to the company, the beta entry will be in waves, as an initial few will be selected, then more in the following weeks.

Call of Duty Elite and its subscription plan for game content has really rubbed Blacklight's Zombie Studios the wrong way. It's "sad" and "really weird," they say.
