Some gamers have uncovered a neat little Easter Egg in the recently released Borderlands 2 DLC "Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty": a Big Daddy straight out of BioShock named Mr. Bubbles.

A title update for the PlayStation 3 version of Borderlands 2 has revealed the name of some upcoming DLC. It's called 'Mr Torgue's Campaign of Carnage' as revealed by a bronze, silver and gold trophy.

This fits the bill for the next major content expansion to Borderlands 2, which is included in the season pass. A total of four major add-ons are scheduled to be released, with smaller ones also teased.

Gearbox's Borderlands 2 has received its second dose of DLC today as Captain Scarlett and her Pirate's Booty is officially available for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Vault Hunters now welcome in Pirate Bay.

The new sand dune wasteland awaits for those with plunder and treasure seeking in mind. We get new enemies, a new NPC, and of course a few more guns and bits of gear to bling us out with.

US videogame sales revealed for September 2012

September's U.S. retail video game sales have been revealed by the NPD. According to the firm, sales have declined 24% year-over-year. Console sales took the biggest hit, down 39% compared to September 2011.

Borderlands 2 Captain Scarlett DLC releasing October 16th

The first major downloadable content expansion for Borderlands 2 will be arriving next week, October 16th. It's Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty, priced at 800 MSP or $9.99/£7.99.

It's based around a bandit-riddled desert town called Oasis, led by the one-eyed pirate royalty Captain Scarlett. It's "more like Tatooine than an ocean", teased Randy Pitchford.
