Borderlands 2 hitting Mac on 20th November

Mac gamers will get to traverse Pandora while shooting the local wildlife and hoodlums on the 20th November, according to Mac version publisher Aspyr, who will be bringing Borderlands 2 to the Mac platform.

Composer Jesper Kyd who has produced quite the resume in terms of scores for video games judges what projects he'll work on if it grants opportunity to "create something original, not who's developing it."

Having said that though he'd "love to work with BioWare" once again, having partnered with them for MDK2. Kyd also said he was "humbled" by the "overwhelming reception" to his Assassin's Creed II score.

Gearbox states 5M units of Borderlands shipped

Take 2 has announced in its earnings report that 5M units of Borderlands 2 have been shipped. The game has performed well in retail, but Gearbox's use of "shipped" seems to indicate that the title has sold considerably less.

Some gamers have uncovered a neat little Easter Egg in the recently released Borderlands 2 DLC "Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty": a Big Daddy straight out of BioShock named Mr. Bubbles.

PS3 trophies name Borderlands 2 DLC, 'Mr Torgue's Campaign of Carnage'

A title update for the PlayStation 3 version of Borderlands 2 has revealed the name of some upcoming DLC. It's called 'Mr Torgue's Campaign of Carnage' as revealed by a bronze, silver and gold trophy.

This fits the bill for the next major content expansion to Borderlands 2, which is included in the season pass. A total of four major add-ons are scheduled to be released, with smaller ones also teased.
