The long-awaited sequel, Broken Sword: The Serpents Curse, will be delayed from an expected April-May 2013 release to the second half of 2013, according to developer Revolution Software.

Developer Revolution Software has announced on the official Broken Sword: The Serpent's Curse Kickstarter page that the game has hit its $400,000 goal, with over two weeks to spare.

The Kickstarter project was announced as a crowd-funded title back on the 23th August.

Revolution Software today revealed the first details for the latest game in the Broken Sword series - Broken Sword: The Serpent's Curse.

Development will be funded through the Kickstarter crowd-funding site, which is currently sitting at $9,261 of the $400,000 goal that Revolution is looking for.
