Description:
This sound mod was created from actual recordings of WWII weapons. It
replicates the distant "pop" and "firecracker" sounds that firearms make during
real combat. Automatic weapons sound gritty and more menacing, and
the new effects for bullets whizzing by will make you run for cover.
This mod can easily be disabled to allow online play, and then re-enabled again
at any time for the single player campaign.

1. Installation
---------------
Use the Installer to install all RealGunSounds files to your base
BrothersInArms directory. Do not select the "System" directory,
as you might with some other mods.
The mod will be enabled by default once you install it.
2. Enabling/Disabling the Mod
-----------------------------
In your Windows Start Menu, a new folder called "BiA Real Gun Sounds" has been
installed for you. Inside that folder are shortcuts for enabling and
disabling the mod.
If you have deleted these shortcuts, or don't want to use them, you can
run the Enable_RGS.bat and Disable_RGS.bat programs found in the
Brothers In Arms[EiB]\RealGunSounds folder where the game is installed.
When enabled, the mod files will be installed in the BiA/System directory.
When disabled, the mod files will reside in the BiA/RealGunSounds directory,
and will have no effect on your game. The old sounds will play instead.
3. Real Gun Sounds Features
---------------------------
Most of the sounds have been painstakingly edited from digital recordings of
test firing actual WWII weapons.

4. Playing Online
-----------------
You must disable the mod before you start the game if you want to play online.
Otherwise, you will only be able to connect with other players if they have
the exact same version of the RealGunSounds Mod installed.
5. Uninstalling
--------------------
To uninstall this mod, simply run the Uninstall shortcut in the BiA Real Gun
Sounds folder in your Windows Start Menu, or run the Uninstall program directly
in your BiA installed game's RealGunSounds folder.
If all else fails, you can just remove the files listed above from the
BiA/System directory. DO NOT REMOVE ANY FILES FROM THE BiA/Sound DIRECTORY;
THESE ARE YOUR ORIGINAL GAME FILES.
