| There's good news and bad news. Rockstar Games is shuttering their Vancouver studio which brought us Max Payne 3, and before that it was the delightful and controversial Bully. Obviously that's the bads news, but the good news is that the 35 staff at Vancouver are being "offered the opportunity" to work at Rockstar's new and bigger studio in Oakville, near Toronto. |

| Oklahoma state representative Will Fourkiller has proposed a state bill, HB 2696, which would charge a 1% tax on all games sold in the state rated Teen, Mature, and Adults-Only, with the money going towards the state's obesity and bullying prevention funds. |

| The Grand Theft Auto developer is looking for Environment Artists to join their Rockstar North clan, and mentions applicants needing the skill to "get the most" from next-gen consoles. Max Payne 3 releases this spring, now delayed until May, with Grand Theft Auto 5 releasing sometime after that. Both are Xbox 360 and PS3 bound, so after their release we go next-gen? |
