Realism sound mod v1.4
by Pleiades aka RuhigSein (My ingame CoD2 name is fugs)
I took sound files from real recording videos, and my own recordings.. All guns are the exact sound you'll hear in real life. The guns are a lot louder and have more force in real life.

I released a few sound mods, and the biggest complaint I would get is the quality. I'm sorry it took a while to release this, I'm very busy.
And... I did my best to make them in High Quality. I tried recording at different angles, locations...etc...
And I finally got the marking that I think fits. Most of the sounds are in better quality then the original sounds.
I hope this is the final marking for my Realism Sound Mod release... If there are any problems or bugs, plz let me know.
Here are the listing of the guns, how they sound...etc...
Rifles: - About all to most rifles sound just about the same. Different echoes.
M1 Garand(7.62x63mm): Sounds very Similar to Nagant, Springfield.
M1 Carbine(7.62x33mm): Makes a pop similar to all the rifles, but caries a weaker echo.
Springfield(7.62x63mm): Sounds very similar to M1 Garand, Nagant.
Mosin Nagant(7.62x54mm): Sounds very similar to Svt40, Garand, Springfield.
Svt40(7.62x54mm): Sounds very similar to Nagant, but caries a different echo.
Lee Enfield(7.7x56mm): Sounds very similar to all Rifles, but caries its own echo.
Mauser Kar98k(7.92x57mm): Sounds very similar to the Gewehr 43. Has its own unique echo.
Gewehr 43(7.92x57mm): Sounds very similar to the Mauser, but carries a different echo.
Shotgun(12 Gauge): Makes the same pop as rifles, but caries a different echo.
Sub-Machine Guns: - All 9mm rounds, make the exact same sound. Just different firing rates. Other calibers make their sounds.
Thompson(11.4mm): Makes its own unique chopping sound.
Mp40(9x19mm): Makes the infamous 9mm sound. Sounds just like all the 9mm weapons.
Sten(9x19mm): Sounds just like the Mp40, but faster firing rate.
Grease Gun(9x19mm): Sounds just like the Mp40 and Sten, slower firing rate.
PPSH(7.62x25mm): Makes the infamous Burping sound. Sounds just like the PPs42, but faster firing rate.
Pps42(7.62x25mm): Sounds just like the Ppsh, but slower firing rate.
Automatic Rifles: - They all make a rifle popping sound, but carry heavier echoes.
BAR(7.62x63mm): Sounds very similar to Rifles, but carries an echo similar to the 30cal.
Bren(7.7x56mm): Sounds just like the BAR, but carries a stronger echo.
Mp44(7.92x33mm): Makes its own unique sound. I tested this, and it sounds very similar to an Ak47.
Fg42(7.92x57mm): Sounds just like the Bar and Bren, but carries the Mp44 echo.
Pistols: - They all make their own unique sound, depending on their caliber.
Colt45(11.4mm): Makes a heavy chop, similar to the Webley.
Luger(9x19mm): Makes a light-powerful bang, similar to the tt30.
tt30(7.62x25mm): Makes a light-powerful bang, similar to the luger.
Webley(.455 Mag): Makes a bang similar to the Colt45, but caries a different echo.
Support Machine Guns: - They make their own unique sounds.
Mg42(7.92x57mm): Makes its own unique ripping sound. Sounds like a very fast shooting Rifle.
30cal(7.62x63mm): Makes it own heavy sound. Sounds similar to the BAR.
I also changed Bolt-Action Rechambering and Reload sounds, and M1 Garand reload sounds.
The Ping sound on the Garand is close to a myth. You will not hear it in a middle of a gun battle. Guns are simply too loud.
So I made it very low, to be realistic, and fun at the same time.(Cause I know people want to hear the PING).
Tanks: - They all make the same Cannon BOOM. But are powerful(ess) compared to its caliber.
PanzerII(20mm): Makes a 20mm sound. Not as powerful as the other cannons.
Crusader(40mm): Makes a 40mm sound. Similar to the 20mm, but heavier.
Sherman(76mm): Makes a 75mm sound. Similar to the 40mm, but heavier.
Tiger(88mm): Makes a 88mm sound. Similar to the 76mm, but heavier.
Flak Guns: - They all make the same Cannon BOOM. But are powerful(ess) compared to its caliber.
FlaK 18(88mm): Makes a 88mm sound. Sounds very similar to the Tiger, but different echo.
Flakvierling(20mm): Makes a 20mm sound. Sounds very similar to the Panzer II, but different echo.
Anti-Tanks: - Make their own unique sounds.
Panzerschreck(88mm): Makes a boom, with the rocket proppelling.
PTRD (14.5mm): Sounds very similar to a .50 cal and 20mm round.
I changed armored vehicle engine sounds. They're actual recordings of the real vehicles.
Also changed cannon rechamber sound, to a real recording.
It's very hard to get Explosion sounds, so I got the best I could. I recorded some of my own. And mixed them with others to create a feel of reality.
Most of the Explosions I got from videos. Because like I said, it's very hard to get.
I changed most of the Explosion sounds. From actual recordings. I changed smoke grenade sound to an actual recording of one. (I think the smoke may be too loud... idk... let me know).
Grenades are real recordings, and so is Artillery. I also changed the Mortar incoming sound from actual recordings.
Some Explosion sounds are very similar, others are very different. A Explosion is an Explosion, and it's not gonna sound very different.
If anyone feels the need to alter or change any sounds, feel free too. I could care less what you do with it, as long as you have the amazing sounds I've added =)
I advise you to not alter the soundaliases folder if you do not know what you're doing.
