BFD Weapons Realism
This is a multiplayer weapons mod that I made for me and my friends that makes several changes to all MP weapons.
*All weapons melee damage has been reduced by half
*All Weapons hitpoints have been changed:
Head and Neck Shots will be One Shot Kills or three times default damage
Chest and Stomach will do twice the default damage (One shot kills for rifles; Kar98, Enfield, Mosin Nagant, Garand, Sniper Rifles)
Arms and Legs will do half the default damage (instead of being killed by being shot in the arm from a rifle)
Hand and Feet will do 1/3 the default damage (Some weapons would actually kill you if you were hit in the foot)
*Shooting from the hip is now less accurate, forcing players to aim down the sights to get a truly accurate shot.
(The actually crosshair is now more open, this is the shot radius)
(no more being shot from a mile away by someone just putting you in there crosshairs)
*Slowed down the shot on automatic rifles and pistols to 1/3 of a sec. It was set to almost 7 shots a second now it is 3 a second.
*If anyone wants, I added a killcam mod that reduces the time to 2 seconds. I like it but if you don't want it you don't have to install it. Just select custom install and check KillCam.
I am releasing in both .zip for servers with ftp access only and an installation file for easy install.
The Installation file will find your COD2 install directory and install the mod into it's own folder (example: c:Program FilesCall Of Duty 2BFD)
This keeps your main folder clean so you can connect to PURE servers without any problems.
A shortcut will be added to your desktop to run a dedicated server. You can edit the server settings by editing the bfd.cfg file in the newly created BFD folder in your COD2 directory (right-click and open with wordpad or any other text editor).
There is also an uninstall file to easily get rid of the mod if you don't like it.

Server Admins using the zip file just add "+set fs_game BFD" (without quotes) into your commandline (or target on shortcut) preferably directly after "C:Call Of Duty 2" or whatever your install is in the command line.
