Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare stock maps/gametypes

Tested on version 1.3


- Enables *Night time* for all stock maps,// v1.1: 3 Levels of night mode switcheable from server.cfg, can be turned off

- Forced Auto-assign, // v1.1: switcheable from server.cfg

- Custom Logo, // v1.1: switcheable from server.cfg

- Integrated MykMod for Health Packs & Bleeding, Switcheable from mykmod.cfg:

Health packs on/off, Health packs number, Bleeding on/off, Bleeding speed, Heal teammates...see mykmod.cfg for details

- Improved NV Goggles vision

- Increased Exponential Fog

- Limited weapons/perks

- Class limited to Assault/Specs Ops

- Laser sight when NightVision Goggles are switched on

- Forces silencer on all weapons

Installation for Server Administrators

- Unpack the archive to your "Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\mods" folder
- To launch server modify your iw3mp.exe to the following:

"C:\Call of duty 4 - Modern Warfare\iw3mp.exe" +set dedicated 2 +set fs_game mods/TacticalNight +set net_ip x.x.x.x +set net_port xxxxx +exec server.cfg +map_rotate

Where x.x.x.x is Public IP of your server and net_port xxxxx is desired port for server (usually 28960)


The mod now has just 2 files:

mod.ff (contains mod code)
TacticalNight.iwd (contains modded weapon files for Laser sights)


For mykmod: see mykmod.cfg

For server.cfg:

//Mod options
set scr_serverlogo 1 // (0 = No logo, 1 = Logo on bottom left)
set scr_nightmode 2 // (0 = no night mode, 1 = Light night, 2 = Medium night (recommended), 3= Heavy night)
set scr_autoassign 1 // (0 = auto assign not forced, 1 = forced auto-assign //in test)
