New trailer reveals Project CARS due November (0)
Slightly Mad Studios announces their new racer Project CARS will be out in the world this November as the "most authentic, beautiful, intense, and technically-advanced" racer to-date. It'll support virtual reality.

Oculus VR and even the fancy (and expensive) 4K resolutions will be featured in Project CARS. This new trailer breaks the news and weighs in at 1 minute 44 seconds of burnt rubber.

Slightly Mad Studios affirm racing sim Project Cars s... (0)
Just because Slightly Mad Studios has announced racing MMO World of Speed, it doesn't mean something untoward has happened to their Oculus Rift and 4K supporting racer, Project Cars. It's still due in 2014.

To that end the British studio has released a new trailer about a minute long proving it's out this year. Project Cars has been in the works since 2011, and will finally cross the finish line in 2014.

C.A.R.S. open to public investors (0)
Slightly Mad Studios, which developed Need for Speed: Shift and Shift 2, has opened up the first game in their consumer investor portal World of Mass Development (WMD) to the public.

C.A.R.S. is a realistic kart racer, whose acronym stands for Community Assisted Racing Sim, which is exactly what it sounds like: gamers who like the concept invest money in the game from the start, and get a proportionate share in the profits. Users may invest in the game’s development as much as $100,000.
