File Instructions:: fter almost a year of inactivity we are finally back in action and have a with a new home at E-Studios.
We have not been resting on our laurels all this time - in fact we've been working hard to deliver you a completely new and, in our eyes, better mod than you have seen previously.
In our new ROTR we have started almost from scratch again and we are currently in the process of reskinning and remaking all old models to a new, improved standard. [ NOTE: This is why we've removed our images from our gallery, new and improved units and structure renders will replace them. ]

Rise of the Reds will add the Russian faction into the "General's" world, and stay true to the style of the original game in both design and gameplay. In addition we will improve the gameplay of the original game and fix balance or bug issues.

Features: New Content and General Selection

Rise of the Reds is a mod for Zero Hour which takes place several years after the Zero Hour storyline. A storyline in which entangles all 4 factions in a battle royale for both global influence and superpower status.

Our mod is not just restricted to Russia, we are also planning to completely redo all the other existing factions with new generals with their unique strategies. We're planning to scrap a the old Zero Hour Generals with ALL NEW ones with it's own unique General selection.
First you select your side: Russia, USA, China or GLA. Then once you are in game you will be prompted as to which general you wish to play, who you will then select at the Command Center.

There will be 3 Generals per faction, making for a total of 12 playable Generals - each with their own unique strengths and weaknesses. We have decided to base ROTR solely around these Generals so there will be no "vanilla" or parent factions in the traditional sense. The new generals are listed as follows.

We will release more detailed information regarding these new Generals later.

Unique Skirmish Maps :
For extra content, we will be releasing skirmish maps rather than full blown campaign, these maps will follow the storyline's war and will lead you across the globe. More on that later Wink ;)
