About No Holds Barred
Hi! I'm YuriGagarin and I will tell you all about my modding project. No Holds Barred is a mod, a mod mean a modification and this mod is for RA2.
A mod has to meet the BBOF requirement(Credit rc22fires for this acronym), BBOF means Bugs Balence Issues and Other Fixes. A mod must balance a game and delete bugs that the creators of the game were too lazy to care. But last of all, a mod must be fun. And funness comes from Bugs Balence Issues and Other Fixes too.
Note that No holds Barred is my first mod and there are lots of open source work in it, so if you see your work in it but it is not credited to you please head to the contacts and email me.
No holds barred gives you new tactics and forces to come up with, and altered gameplay. The AI is not fixed yet but it would be fixed soon. And just like the names suggests, there are some holds or limitations released in my mod. Like some buildlimits and stuff so to make the game more flexible and challenging.
There are some new and old concepts included in my mod to make the game interesting, like lightning and plasma, railguns and ioncannons, stealth and radar jammers....

Story:
After the peace treaty was signed between the Allied and Soviets, they made the three peaces, peace in industry, peace in science, peace in politics. Then Einstein and Nicholas Tesla which are the leaders of the peace of science, organized meetings. They found each other's work interesting and the interest soon turned into greed. They wanted each other technology, but they wouldn't share. They started to advance in their own technology, so if they couldn't shared their power, at least they had the power. So a new war started, a war with no scientific limitations, with matching power from each side, behold the power of science!
