This is my second public map and an attempt at creating something different, not just the weather because I know there's a lot of snow maps out there, - but the whole atmosphere.
Its a 2 player skirmish map, but you should be able to play multiplayer with it also. I haven't tested against another human much, mostly against expert cpu. This map is best played with expert cpu; maybe it's just me that I find hard level not so tuff anymore (or maybe because I know my own map so well).
HOW TO INSTALL
1. Unzip contents to a known location (ie your desktop, etc).
2. Copy the contents, except for the "sound" folder, to the following path:
XXXINSTALL PATH OF COHXXXXXWW2DataScenariosmp
Example
C:Program FilesTHQCompany of HeroesWW2DataScenariosmp
3. Copy the contents of soundmusic to the same folders within your install path.
Example
C:Program FilesTHQCompany of HeroesWW2DataScenariosmpsoundmusic
If you don't have these folders already (most probably not), then just create them and copy the *.bsc file into the root of ...soundmusic
Example
C:Program FilesTHQCompany of HeroesWW2DataScenariosmpsoundmusicpanther_theme.bsc
HOW TO PLAY THIS MAP
To play this map, and other custom maps, you'll need to run COH in DEV mode. To do this, modify the shortcut to launch it as below:
** You'll need to first see the properties of that launcher short-cut, by right-clicking on the short-cut and left clicking on "properties"
In the "Target" text box, you should see:
"C:Program FilesTHQCompany of HeroesRelicCOH.exe"
**if you installed COH to the default path
Simply add "-dev" to the end of that text string as below:
"C:Program FilesTHQCompany of HeroesRelicCOH.exe" -dev
**notice the quotation marks around the path, but not the -dev at the end
USAGE LICENSE PERMISSIONS
You may modify this map as you wish, but please give me credit if you should use it publicly. Please also send me an email to let me know so I can check out how you've improved on it.
