Chateau St-Marc 1.0
COH & OF (Compatibility with TOV unknown)
(1 vs. 1) multiplayer or single player map
Created by ManWithTheRifle

The Chateau St-Marc, founded by French aristocracy in the 17th century and added onto since,
is a pleasant manor somewhere in France. While the countryside has suffered from the 1940
German invasion and the recent Allied attack at Normandy, the chateau and its gardens have
all but been spared the ravages of war ... until now. As the Anglo-American and Nazi armies
clash throughout the Gallic land, the line of battle finds itself through this noble residence.
What will become of the manor, and who will win the upcoming battle?

This is the first map I have submitted for public consumption. While the manor itself is
fictional, I was inspired by several real-life chateaux - Versallies being the biggest
influence (especially with the central manor and the garden), but Castle Howard and the
Chateau de Fontainbleau helped me determine the chateau's environs.

I also realize the map is flat and has a very high level of fuel and ammo. These are
intentional: The map is flat because chateaux from the 17th century onward seemed to have
level grounds for their buildings and gardens as far as I can tell, and there are many high
resource points because my style of CoH combat emphasizes armor and paratroopers, and I hate
having to wait to get enough fuel from a few Low-Medium fuel locations in order to build the
stuff I want. However, I tried to ensure that neither side has an unfair advantage in terms
of supplies, so both armies can duke it out with high-powered weaponry. :)

(I might release a "low-resource" version of the map, if demand is high enough.)

Installation:
If you're a veteran of Company of Heroes, you probably already know how to do this, but you
might be new, so here goes: transfer all the files in the folder to
"C:Program FilesTHQCompany of HeroesWWIIDataScenariosmp" (if you don't already have a
folder by this name, make one)
and make sure to have " -dev" at the end of the target of the "Company of Heroes.exe" shortcut.

You can use this map in any way you want, just make sure to give me credit.
