A realistic map of a car ferry (as big as the Titanic).

AB Line's flagship "AB Walcheren" was hijacked at night while undergoing routine maintenance at the ferry terminal. The terrorists were very violent having shot some dock personnel and throwing the ship's crew overboard. They got the ship moving out to sea before an armed response arrived at the terminal. As there are few or no hostages on board, negotiations will be skipped in favour of force. A special force will be airdropped onto the ship to secure it and neutralize the terrorists. The terrorists may try to sink the ship.
This is a beta version of the map. Thus there may be problems and areas that can be improved later. Please provide constructive criticism and bug reports to help me improve later versions.
I have worked very hard on this for more than a year. Much time and research has gone into making the ship and its layout as realistic as possible - gameplay balance was less important. Some features have been added to make the gameplay very different from normal (some players will like this, others will hate it). Most time and work has gone into getting this huge map to compile without critical errors! Though this ship resembles many real life ones, it's design is entirely original. The AB logo is fictional.
The custom sounds are found mostly on the car decks (vent sounds).
To scuttle(sink) the ship, go to bottom deck near mid section of ship, find big valve and press it. Water will start to rise and global alarm will sound. All players will eventually drown.
To start engine room fire, shoot fuel pipes with powerful gun. After 15 seconds, fire starts & alarm sounds. To extinguish, go to control room, Use door lock button, then press CO2 flush button.
to play megaphone safety announcement, go to the bridge (where the captain would be) and press flashing button. Don't use often - very annoying!
to use huge cardeck lift, go to back of deck 3, find buttons on middle wall...caution, it can crush you.
to access the strongroom near bridge, type in my birthyear in the keypad
FACTS FOR SHIP FREAKS:
Dimensions: 200m long, 32.5m wide and 11 decks high.
Draught would be aprox 6m.
Gross tonnage would be aprox 50,000.
Aprox Car capacity = 530 (car deck 2 = 140 cars, car deck 5 = 200, car deck 6 = 180).
Aprox 2000 berths (1650 car drivers+passengers, 200 foot/bus passengers, 150 crew, 100 truckers).
4x 8-cylinder in-line diesel engines with a total output of ~36,000kW or ~48,000hp at 500rpm.
That propulsion gives a service speed of about 23knot or 40km/h or 26mph. - Typical of a ropax.
Lifeboats for 600, the rest have to do with inflatable rafts :¬¨(

KNOWN PROBLEMS (tell me if you find any serious ones!):
Bots often get stuck by crowding at doors
Poor connection to server may cause many problems as network overhead is large for this map
Soundscape crossfade is slow as game default is 3 sec
Lift doors work 99% of the time and you have to aim carefully at the buttons
Sniping in the bridge area may be blocked by the skybox
The sinking event can have problems, esp if triggered after 5 min into a round (skybox can disappear, seawater goes backwards etc)
fire sprites can sometimes remain in engineroom next round (just ignore it)
