pc, I can get the Game of Thrones mod working, but this mod and ck2plus just won't work.

No idea what's up with that, if your game is registered you should probably post a thread in the tech support paradox forum. If not, check what's on the error log and let me know. It's in documents/paradox interactive/the prince and the thane or the prince and the thane_tptt portraits/logs.

I already did the thing with the CFF Explorer. But this is what is in the error folder.

From what I've got it might be a graphics problem, are you sure you have installed the latest drivers of your graphic card?

it worked but i have problem with my screen h-position being about 2 inches offset to the right. thers no chance to play normaly. i have CK2 1.06b with no other mods/dlcs ....vanila works perfect. is there a fix for this?

i have a problem ingame, after a few days have passed, no matter what year i start or who i play, an event blank event apare. i cant remove it nor play after it apare, any idea how to fix this problem?

First let me say that the events and the expanded building options etc make the game far more enjoyable.
That said, whether intentional or not the mod is broke with respect to high stats in particular stewardship.
Have not broken it down to see exactly when it breaks but it is not at 50 to 60 and it is at 100 plus.
What happens at 100 plus value before wife and steward adds, is that building costs for your directly owned properties is 1 gold and takes only 1 day.
Any unfortunate besieger will watch wall, moats, keeps etc pop up overnight faster than they can knock them down. This is just the minor effect this has.
Military is not quite so broke, Intrigue becomes almost automatic. Education is faster but less pronounced effect than stewardship.
But with the easy points in the character builder that have been reworked - perhaps this was intended.

Created a custom gael goidel character in Dublin and am having a blast, here are some suggestions. The gael goidel cultural building should be a Gallowglass building chain instead of the bow chain giving a heavy infantry bonus. The Ui Imar dynasty should, as well as the Crovan be switched to the gael goidel culture. Also I saw the Kingdom of Man and the Isles requires norse religion but i'm able to create it as a catholic.

I have the same loading crash problem. It loads fine, until paradox picture fades away and loading menu picture appear. (Already done what is required regarding Cff explorer). Can anyone help with this?...

Put the folder and the other file in the mod folder then just check both The Prince and The Thane and the portraits in the CK2 launcher. Launch game and enjoy.

This mod kicks a** and still has much more potential than the upcoming "Sunset Invasion" DLC.
TPatT added so many things the original game missed, such as the new trait system, new event system, all religions being playable and the Jewish factor in the medieval period. More historicaly accurate map and new portrait elements are also enjoyable.
However, it has its flaws, such as bugs in the movement of troops and navy, who sometimes tend to "teleport" themselves somewhere off their route before resuming their movement. Some provinces, like one county in Hungary, are divided by other counties, but are still treated like one county for the game's purposes, despite being like a "tunnel" of sorts.
I am slightly bothered by the mod's portrayal of Kingdom of Serbia and its culture, as Serbia de jure belongs to the Byzantine Empire and its culture is Serbian, not Balkan. Also, Judaic cultural group should be spelt with a capital J.
Other than that and some crashes, this mod is awesome and should be updated to be compatible with LoR and have its bugs fixed. Perhaps add some more content to "lesser" religions?

Game crashes starting up...performed the cff changes, still no dice. Using up-to-date steam version.

*EDIT: Fixed! As quoted from the paradox forums:

"You'll need the Coat of Arms fix I guess. That was the fix which "made" it to me.

Of course I can give no warranty about that. For me it just worked. Put the new txt-file in:
/Documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings II/mod/The Prince and the Thane/interface and save your old coats_of_arms.txt as coats_of_arms.txt.old"

I used to have the same problem as slothzen, and i menaged to fix it following your post so thank you. The problem now is that i can start a new game but when I resign it crashes, when i use diplomacy it crashes.
Could somebody please lend me a hand whit this problem?
I've also heard that the version 1.7.2 was more stable so if you have can you link me where I can find it?

If you keep crashing after "fixing" the game and launcher .exe files, then try this:
1. Open the Launcher.
2. IMake sure the Prince and the Thane PORTRAITS mod is disabled.
3. Enable the Prince and the Thane mod.
4. Disable the 2 Dynasty Coats of Arms DLCs.
5. Disable the Ruler Designer DLC.
6. Play!

There is a problem whit the coats_of_arms.txt file in the interface folder, the mod only works whiteout it. So if the mod does't work, just delete this file
