Not a hint...a fact.
Actyakky, tyhe gane us not DX10-specific fot "Very High" graphics settings, Crytek just put limiters in. What you have put in as "hints" are fully explained on Tweakguides.com. I hope u r not claiming it as your idea as it is not, and there is more to it than your simple breakdown. Basically you are correct, but follow the FULL explanation to enable "Very High" for DX9 users. Just remember, your GPU is going to get plenty hot and your FPS may plummet.
