Crysis 3 a "dramatic" conclusion to Prophet, next Crysis "much more radical"
Developer Crytek reveals that they already have plans in mind for the next Crysis after Crysis 3, but it won't be called 'Crysis 4' as "it would be misleading," given that Prophet's story concludes.
Calling it '4' would "imply the story just moves on," but it doesn't. The studio is looking into something "much more radical and new" for the future of the franchise; no pre-production yet.

CEO Cevat Yerli of Crytek, creators of Crysis, has given his two cents worth of where he predicts the future of PC gaming lies - and it's free-to-play.
It'll become a "content/quality competition" between the F2P and retail markets. Pressure for "initial quality" in online games is lower than retail triple-A.
