Cute Knight (Kishi Kawaii) is an anime-styled raising simulation and role-playing game aimed at both male and female fans of all ages and skill levels. The key to the game is its replayability. A single playthrough the game will take at most a few hours, but there are over fifty distinct endings to find, and the "true" storyline explaining the PC's background requires a lot of exploration to unlock.

The player takes control of an orphaned girl who has just turned 18 and must learn to fend for herself. The character must find employment and pay for her own care and her training at the local university in order to raise her skills. Higher skills means higher earnings and the ability to explore other parts of the world, like the monster-filled dungeon beneath the city slums. She will also meet and interact with other characters around the city, which may bring about romances or rivalries.

The gameplay is designed to be simple enough for a complete RPG novice to pick up and play - but with randomly generated dungeons and treasure, a full crafting system to create dozens of your own items and potions, a card-based magic system, secret events and more, there is always something new for the expert to find.
