Demonicon to use The Dark Eye ruleset

Kalypso Media has announced that Demonicon will be using German pen-and-paper roleplaying game The Dark Eye's sourcebook and ruleset, and will be renamed The Dark Eye: Demonicon. The Dark Eye has long been the German equivalent of Dungeons & Dragons, debuting in 1984.

Kalypso Media today announced that it's acquired parts of TGC - The Games Company, who recently went into insolvency. The acquisition grants Kalypso Media rights to third-person RPG Demonicon and the browser based MMO - UCITI.
A team of 17 employees from the former development department of TGC, Silver Style Entertainment, will be merged with the newly founded Noumena Studios, which is owned by Kalypso Media.
